Her work with older adults in Canada, combined with her personal family experience and commitment to reducing social isolation among older adults, inspired the establishment of Nimota Care Foundation. Through the Foundation, she is committed to promoting healthy aging, dignity, social connection, nutrition, preventive health care, and improved quality of life for older adults and vulnerable members of the community.

Nimota Raji Gambari is the Founder and CEO of Nimota Care Foundation. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) with Honours from York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and an Honours Social Service Worker – Gerontology Diploma from Sheridan College in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. She divides her work between Akute, Ogun State, Nigeria, and Brampton, Ontario, Canada, bringing a cross-continental perspective to the Foundation’s commitment to healthy aging, dignity, compassionate care, and improved quality of life for older adults.
